1960s Big Lap - Port Lincoln to Ceduna SA

16,618 miles in an unbreakable 1962 EK Holden towing a 15' Van. Port Lincoln proved to be the peninsula's saving grace, a beautiful town with magnificent views overlooking the harbour with its inevitable towering silos. We were eager to continue. Travelling westwards up the coast through even drier country we passed through the small but attractive township of Elliston before arriving at Ceduna and its neighbouring wheat terminal of Thevenard one evening.
