In search of 'Our Waddi' - Plan A

We are currently at base camp in St George, anxiously watching at the latest road and flooding reports in the West of Queensland and South Australia. Plan A was to follow in the tyre tracks of Dad's 1972 expedition as outlined in this video. With the North end of the Birdsville Track and the 'Inside Track' currently under water we are working on 'Plan B' The Strzelecki Track. The problem being 13 ks of flooding between Noccundra and Innamincka which is currently only open to high clearance 4WD with snorkels and no towing. Hopefully the waters will subside enough over the next couple of days to get the vans through. A short day on the road to Bollon today.
