In Search of 'Our Waddi' - Now and Then

One of the great parts of this adventure was the nostalgia, reliving the history and seeing what has and what has not changed over 80 years. As well as following Dad’s wheel tracks from 1972, we revisited places I had travelled to in the 1960’s and 1970’s. We followed the Old narrow gauge Ghan Rail on which Cecil Madigan’s travelled on in 1939 in the lead up to his Simpson Desert Crossing.
